Rose joined Toastmasters in April, 1999 to overcome her fear of public speaking. Not only did she achieve her goal, she found confidence and discovered a passion for leadership. She loves seeing the metamorphosis that occurs as members develop into beautiful butterflies. Rose strives to Reach at least One member to Teach them so they remain or Keep engaged in Toastmasters. ROTOKO is her vision for our District.
Rose retired from ExxonMobil as a Paralegal after a 40-year career. Besides being recently married and mother to one adult son, she is very active in her church and Sorority.
Jo began her Toastmaster’s journey in June 2015. She enjoys bringing the gift of Toastmasters to new members, mentoring, and witnessing all Toastmasters grow into better versions of themselves each day. Jo retired from MD Anderson Cancer Center after 38 years where she worked as a Sr. IT Project Manager.

Robert joined CITGO Voice Toastmasters in January 2013 to overcome his fear of public speaking. He quickly became involved in club leadership and branched into District service as Area and Division Director, Division Council Coordinator, Conference Co-Chair and served on several other projects. He loves seeing others grow in their Toastmasters journey!
Robert holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting, an MBA and is a CPA licensed in Texas. He recently obtained his Compliance and Ethics Professional Certification. Robert works as a Compliance & Ethics Manager at CITGO Petroleum in the Energy Corridor and lives in Tomball with his family.
Rae Ann joined Toastmasters to improve her networking skills and never looked back. She has enjoyed serving at the club and district level and actively works on taking skills learned in Toastmasters and applying them to all aspects of her life. When she's not busy with Toastmasters she enjoys gardening, reading and helping her tax clients achieve success.
Terrie is a Charter Member of the Determined to Master Speaking Club since 2004. Disabled Veteran of the United States Army. Currently employed for the United States Postal Services for over 26 years. Terrie enjoys working in the community helping the youth. Motto is A.R.T.S. Always Ready to Serve and the Army Motto Be All You Can Be.
Kathryn R. Kest has been in Toastmasters since 2010. In addition to her certification as a Project Management Professional, and a Grateful Leadership Trainer, Kathy has achieved 2 Distinguished Toastmaster Awards in the traditional program and is almost complete with her 3rd DTM in Pathways.
Kathy has served in leadership roles in TI District 56 for the past six years. She served as the District 56 Director 2019-2020 and is now the Immediate Past District 56 Director. Her personal goal is to focus on personal leadership and communication skill development while helping others to achieve their individual goals as well.
Camille Morales joined Toastmasters in January 2017 to overcome her persistent fear of public speaking. She has served at the club and district levels in various leadership roles and is always looking for a challenge that is slightly outside of her current comfort zone. She enjoys being part of the larger Toastmasters community by presenting at officer training and district conferences and serving on various committees. Camille is currently serving as an officer in 3 of her clubs along with her duties as District 56 Special Assistant to the Trio.
Sharla Ozen joined Toastmasters in 2016. She has served as Club President, VPE, VPM and Treasurer. She has served as a Club Sponsor, Mentor and Coach, as well as Club Quality Chair and TLI Trainer for the District. Sharla was the 2019 Area Director of the Year. She is Pathways proficient in Motivational Strategies and Persuasive Influence.

Brenda joined Pensadores de Houston Toastmasters Club in March 2014. With most of her training in Spanish, she stepped out her comfort zone in 2019 to assume leaderships roles of Club President, Area Director and Club Sponsor. She says “Toastmasters has impacted my life and has given me the opportunity to develop my leadership and communication skills.” TEAM WORK is her mantra.
Brenda was born and raised in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and is now a US Citizen. She has one son, Diego. She is a Professor in Pedagogy and Psychology and a Spanish Teacher.
Otto joined Toastmasters in August 2014 taking on all club officer roles and later Area and Division Director leadership roles. He has held multiple engineering and management leadership positions in five industries from broadcasting to oil and gas. His career accomplishments include introducing new industry game changing technologies and innovative products. He holds a BS and MS degrees in in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance. He is a member of several professional societies. Otto has over 70 patents issued and pending and has published 50+ technical publications. He Received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
Patricia joined Toastmasters in May 2016. She obtained her DTM in August 2019. One of her passions is to promote initiatives and create awareness about Diversity and Inclusion within Toastmasters and beyond, within the society.
Patricia is a Reservoir Engineering Consultant and an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
David is a performance coach and Senior Vice President with Amegy Bank. He is a current member and Past President of the Talking Bull Toastmasters, a Sponsor and Charter Member of the A+ Toastmasters, VP Membership for Dining Out Toastmasters for 2020-2021 and has served as Area Director for Toastmasters Area Q51. David enjoys cycling, hiking and reading.
In five short years, Tammy has chartered three clubs, sponsoring two of them; Coached a Club to Distinguished; achieved the DTM Award in both the Legacy and Pathways programs, along with serving as an Area Director twice. She was an early adopter in Pathways and has completed five Paths. She has served District Conferences as the Contest Chair and Education Chair. Tammy is looking forward to starting new Clubs and watching all Members meet their goals.
